While this morning began somewhat drizzlesome, once training concluded and I was allowed to leave, it turned into a legitimate spring day! Furthermore, yesterday I splurged on a plastic Adirondack chair at Ace Hardware. Having a beautiful view with no place to sit is dumb.
Here’s some pictures.
As I was sitting outside, our 47′ MLB was on a training run. She’s a beaut.
I also played around with HDR for a bit, but that one’s not ready yet.
Peace!

Did you know, the term Adirondack comes from the original inhabitants of the first Ace Hardware location back in 1712? That’s right, the Adirondack Indians were the first hardware dealers in the New World, and attracted the settlers with Manager’s Specials and special Dollar Deals. After the Cold War ended, the market for plastic chairs collapsed (the Soviets loved to lounge) and the Adirondack Indians closed up shop. Later, when Ace Hardware opened, they named the plastic chairs “Adirondack” chairs, as a symbol of their domination.
You should be ashamed.

Nice photo composition. Must go hand in hand with the fine art of using film, even it it is outdated.

Nice composition on the pics. Be prepared with the camera on Aug. 27 for Mars and Moon shots. Closest Mars will be to earth for a few centuries. Get the film ready!

Can your 47′ MLB sneak through the nations tributaries and end up on the Trinity River in Dallas/Ft. Worth? That would be an excellent test of its capabilities.

Tricky, but I think it could be done, provided there’s a diesel filling station every 200 miles or so.
I’ll run it by command
